In December 2010, my Dad and I took a cruse of New Zealand. We started in Auckland and traveled down the eastern coast and returned up the western coast on the Holland America cruise ship the Volendam. Great trip, super ship, but alas, cruising is not for me. Too many people and no choice in destinations. Major ports of call: Auckland, New Zealand Tauranga (Rotorua) New Zealand Napier, New Zealand Wellington, New Zealand Akaroa (Christchurch, NZ) TR Port Chalmers (Dunedin), NZ Milford Sound, New Zealand SC TR Hobart, Tazmania Sydney, Australia On a high note, the country of New Zealand is gorgeous, the people wonderful, and the fauna and flora fabulous. I really want to go back and see the country by caravan, spend a month or two, and hike the Milford track. New Zealand - I Shall Return!
